First of all, welcome to the game! It's always nice to see new faces.

The first step it to start building. I prefer to take all my troops over to the other side of the trees to build near the iron. Personal preference, it can likely be done either way. While the peasants are busy building the standard two quarters and an armory, I send the guy from my left tower up to the treasure, and then leave him there. I leave the guy in the tower closest to the enemy so that he doesn't send peasants to gather chickens in my area. I then set the rally point for my troops to be at the base of them mountain on his side.

When gathering supplies, focus primarily on iron, only gather enough stone to fill your towers and have a few left over. Send over about three or four peasants to your rally point as soon as possible, backing them up with berserkers when you get a chance. When they arrive, have them start putting up towers immediately. Keep building towers, starting out close to the trees then branching out to cover the entire base of his side of the mountain. Continue to send troops over, and fill towers as soon as they're completed. You will likely want to send over a few additional peasants to speed up the building process.

I've completed it with a much smaller quarters size, so by using that technique you should be able to complete it without a problem. Remember, if it feels like things are going too fast and you aren't able to deploy troops, put axemen in towers, and start building new towers quickly enough, just slow the game speed down.

Best of luck to you!

You didn't state whether you have upgraded your quarters for increased population. It's still possible to complete the mission without the extra troops, but it's much more difficult.
You need to build 2 quarters and an armory where you start. As soon as you start building, take an axeman from one tower and claim the treasure. Once you finish building your armory, gather resources and immediately send about 5 axemen to guard the chickens between the 2 bases, these are closer to him than the other ones so he'll always try to gather them first. If you can stop him gathering any chickens, the battle is half won already. Next set a rally point between your opponent and the treasure and keep sending as many troops as you can. If he produces a Witch Doctor, be careful: he'll try to use the stinking stew, so retreat if he does, then attack once it has disappeared. You should be able to keep superior numbers guarding the base of the mountain to counteract any assassins he uses, and simply keep sending reinforcements to run down the clock.

Yes, you can earn points by winning games in the Hall, as detailed in the Advice Centre

When I had rock quarters 120 armory 100 and berserkers and axemen and towers of course nut i didnt had lur tunes
so to the point
First step: I send one of the rock to the hill.
Second step: I destory his left tower and build my tower there.
Third step i set my army to go to my tower in his base and then prevent him from getting reesources.
Fourth step: I destory him by any means.
Even if you dont kill him the axemen on the hill will have claimed the treasure

just a little detail make another tower at the place where he climbes for his treasure
something to slow them down
even if they get to the treasure keep attacking his settlement sooner or later victory will be yours
