I have recently noticed an increase in the number of players (some new, some not so new) being asked for their password ("Give me your password and I'll do those quests that you can't do"), and then, 10 minutes after giving away their password, said player is back online complaining that they got ripped off and their account has been stripped of oddies, and even worse... "they didn't even do the quests"
These scammers then use the compromised accounts in order to target other players, so if you've foolishly given them your password, you need to contact Oddlabs immediately and change it so your account doesn't get used for this nefarious purpose.

If this has happened to you, please post the name of the person who scammed you so others are aware of it. Then go hide your face in shame for letting yourself get sucked in so badly
Most of these compromised accounts can be traced back to 4 culprits: Oyster, Baseball, and El Master & his brother Counter

I'll try to edit this post as new names are discovered.

and master of scammers is EL MASTER

Jony's account has now been taken by the scammers and he is playing under a different name. Same with Chief Oginhoff's account. Joe Yah is also asking for passwords.

Are you guys saying that all these users have given out their passwords? I know people have been giving out passwords and all, but this seems a little extreme. I suppose the fact that this game tends to attract a younger crowd (<16) may contribute to the users being more gullible.

i think peter is innocent, i know he has done quests for people but i don't think he's scammed anyone, if anyone knows for sure let me know and he goes on the list
not entirely sure about Hotti yet, can anyone confirm her/him as a scammer?

Not sure if he's part of the problem, but golden eye (who claims to be the former Jony) just claimed to have gotten passwords from El Master. He claimed to have spiker grim's password. I guess that would explain his varying skill level (sometimes okay, sometimes lousy).

This is getting to be an epidemic. New players, if you're reading this, just don't ask people to do quests for you. The normal players will likely be disgusted in you because you couldn't beat them on your own, and everyone else will waste your hard earned points and oddies. Asking for hints is fine, that's one of the purposes of this forum.
