I'm not apologizing
The only valid reason not to apologize would be if you weren't in the wrong. But you are. I've condensed this conversation down for the sake of easy reading. Your initial unprovoked, antagonistic comments are in
red, and your further unprovoked, condescending comments are in
purple. Other people's responses in kind are in
green. And your claims that you are stopping the flame war are in
blue.
Conversation #1:

Cyan's resources regenerate more quickly than the others
Dak wrote:
no they don't
Bloodring wrote:
Have you not played on cyan or you just blind
13 wrote:
Dak is quite right. The developers took great care to give equal resources on each map
Dak wrote:
I have extensive experience playing on cyan
Dak wrote:
Another thing you have yet to learn is that resources only respawn when they reach a certain level across the entire map.
13 wrote:
Just did a count, exactly 20 iron, 20 stone, and 5 chickens for each location.
Dak wrote:
oh, and chickens only respawn in trees
Bloodring wrote:
Oh yeah? Well during the middle of the game, half my forest was back and I had new 5 chickens every minute, sometimes faster or longer. If you think you know everything, explain why anything came to be
Dak wrote:
have you been drinking? Do you not read what you've typed before you click the "Submit" button? Did you have a stopwatch out timing it?
Dak wrote:
I've played this game since there was 3 levels in the beta stage. What I say about it, I have learned from experience. I know more about it than you.
Bloodring wrote:
you don't even KNOW how long I've been playing, so don't start with all that "i'm a veteran so that means I'm better than you" crap, and third, I know what happened and I watched EVERYBODY'S resources
Dak wrote:
First: I didn't say I was better than you, I said I know more about this game than you. Unless you've been playing this game since it was first released in beta, I've been playing longer than you, and I have learned a great deal about this game from my experience.
Second: If you were watching everybody's resources with stopwatch in hand, you wouldn't have had time to play the game, so what you saw would not be a true representation of what happens in a real game, where everyone is actually playing, instead of clock-watching. You wouldn't be able to watch all 6 bases simultaneously, and play at the same time.
Third: I am better than you
NB: this comment is not condescending at all. It obviously refers only to each players TT2 game-playing ability, and is therefore a fact. Dak is far better at TT2 than you, Bloodring.
Bloodring wrote:
here we go with all the assuming. you weren't watching me, you never played me, and i know you bought oddies to help. so no. you know nothing about what you don't see, smartass. no i'm not being vulgar.
Dak wrote:
You are the one doing all the assuming. You're basing your assumptions on one game. I'm basing my knowledge on my observations of hundreds of games. It's better to be a smartass than a dumbarse, Dumbarse.
On a side note... I purchased oddies because I'm not a freeloader. I believe in paying people a fair price for their hard work, not spending my life mooching off others.
Also, just because you say "no, I'm not being vulgar" doesn't change the fact that you may have already said something vulgar.
Bloodring wrote:
Hullooo smart one, I know everything because I think I do.
Dak wrote:
Nothing you say makes any sense whatsoever. Oddlabs worked extremely hard to make the maps as balanced as possible
Bloodring wrote:
It seems you are pretty dumb for an adult who (since you think you know everything) can't get what an intellectual's trying to say. I know, it may be hard understanding my toned-down speeches, but, really, you must try, you know.

Dak, it's quite obvious that the kid has no idea what an algorithm is, much less that programs do exactly what they are programmed to do. If he can't grasp that, there's no sense arguing. Some people are just incapable of understanding programming languages.
Dak wrote:
Yep. It's also obvious that he knows nothing about TT2, as he thought purple had more chickens than all the others. So much for all those games he's allegedly played.
Bloodring wrote:
You two give yourself more credit than you deserve. I do in fact understand exactly what an algorithm is, but it is true that if YOU are stupid enough to believe that programs are infallible, then there's no sense continuing.
Dak wrote:
We're not saying the code is infallible. If the code doesn't make sense, the game will crash.
Dak wrote:
*sees that Bloodring is currently online, and eagerly awaits his next moronic, but totally hilarious, piece of fiction*

Blood ring, your completely making a fool of yourself, and if i were you i would stop, because you sound totally lame and techincally stupid! And i even know about this stuff, why would Oddlabs make things unfair? They are respectful, and they don't set out to destroy peoples chances of winning by fighting over one spot!
YOUR BECOMING A LUNATIC DUDE! YOU POST THIS STUFF IN MY THREAD AND I WOULD BE QUIET OR I WILL COME GET YOU IN TT2 AND COMPLETELY WIPE YOU OUT! (ITS NOT LIKE I HAVENT DONE THAT BEFORE, ONLY LIKE 10 TIMES !
lol)
BE QUIET, YOUR NO HOTSHOT NOR A KNOW-IT-ALLBloodring wrote:
that just gives me the creeps. there's something wrong with you, dude
JS-Rocket wrote:
You think im weird??? Have you read over your comments before you hit the "Submit" button!?
I'm ON TT2 RIGHT NOW, IF YOU ARENT TOO CHICKEN YOU MAY COME ON IN CHAIN AND SHOW ME UP! UNLESS YOUR CHICKEN!

As much as this pains me, I must agree with him... you resemble Shaka a bit too much in that last post. Posting in all caps or larger letters does not make you easier to hear or more effective at getting your point across. The name calling only puts you in the same group as the person you were talking about.
Bloodring, like Dak, I'm curious as to what your next comment would have been...
Bloodring wrote:
lol, nah, I'm done trying to get thru Dak (he's a lost cause) besides, I'm done being angry and I won't waste my time bickering
After this, the thread calms down for a while. The antagonism and condescension is almost completely one-sided, and always initiated by you, until our dear friend JS-Rocket injects his two cents worth. Do I need to show you more examples?
