Hmm... I get what your saying but the thing is garg that either way it is still gaining a huge unfair advantage of others which is unfair . But i also agree with wat ur saying the paying get more of an advantage and therefore Oddlabs get more money inorder to upgrade more but.... Even though as they have stated that more players are going to start playing right... So there will simply be more and more paying users is well which buy oddies. No worryies though i agree with where your going with this garg. Best of luk 2 all TT2 players

Actually, what is unfair is when people don't pay for a game that they play regularly, and they whinge and moan about what's fair and what's not fair. Paying players should always receive an advantage over non-paying players, otherwise what incentive is there to pay (aside from any obligation to pay for the developer's time & effort in producing such a great game)?

Dak, it's a lost cause. Some people feel justified to free everything. They don't understand the difference between freeware and software.

Has anyone seen a forecasted price for the release, by the way? I was hoping for $30 or under, but I suppose it could be the pay-per-volume oddie sales.

If you go to GameSamba's website, all of their other games already use a token system utilizing 'Sambas'. Likely a strong reason they found TT2 attractive. I suspect we will be using Sambas rather than Oddies in the future to fit in with their payment model.

Yea i c where your going with this i now recon that it is actually right... That if they developers have done such a good job upon the game the should be getting something for their hard work thanks for clarifying that sorry i was wrong... Hope all have a good time playing though.....

I hope I can remember what I bought... though I already started a new character and am through most of the quests.

Once I again I wish there was better organization and communication surrounding this "beta." There are alot of us long time players that could provide good feeback if we had some structure to this process. I also hope the main communication is not through FB, but email so it reaches all players.

Why haven't they informed us of this here? They have been asked several times already though I guess a dedicated thread might have helped.

To note, the forum link from the TT2 website does take one to GameSamba's forum, not here, but we couldn't have asked there because that forum is locked to prospective new users.

i hope they add new Multiplayer maps too... thats really the only thing we use...

and that map called 'the great arena' they should add that to multiplayer too.

Did you all check this out of the TT2 FB page - from TT2:
"Hey everyone, good news! ^_^
A system has been put in place that allows retrieval of all Oddies previously purchased through the use of a coupon code.
These codes will be emailed to the email address provided at the time of purchase."

THEN this comment from TT2 underneath:

"TribalTrouble2 When we launch the final version, the Oddies will once again be reset to an appropriate number that represents the amount that would have been purchased for the previously spent dollar amount."

Which begs this question (which I posted there):

"Steve Cummings As I read this - when the new or "final" version is launched we will only be credited at the new rate at which oddies cost...so for example if back in the day for $10 we got 15 oddies - if that same $10 in the new (final) version only buys 5 oddies - we will be out 10 oddies...is that a fair assumption (the points/$ are obviously made-up)"

I hope what I suspect is wrong - it would be a shame to penalize the long-time players...why not loosen the purse strings and grandfather us in on a ODDIES basis not a $ basis!
